OBJECTIVES AND PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION OF THE FOUNDATION

§ 7

The Foundation's goals are:

1. to create, manage and support activities, programs and facilities that contribute to the prevention and resolution of addiction and mental health problems, including providing assistance to individuals in difficult life situations,

2. to collect funds and material resources in order to create, maintain and support and finance these activities, programs and facilities.

§ 8

The Foundation pursues its goals through:

1. conducting and financing the activities of its own branches, facilities, educational and therapeutic programs, as well as organizing and conducting training, in the form of both as paid and unpaid public benefit activities,

2. inspiring, coordinating and supporting the activities of other institutions, associations and individuals involved in the prevention and resolution addition-related issues as well as other addictions and mental health challenges.

3. cooperation with state and local government administration as well as with legal and natural persons involved in the prevention and resolution of addiction and mental health problems both domestically and internationally.

4. carrying out tasks assigned by state and local government administration,

5. conducting activities in the field of health protection and promotion in the form of inpatient treatment in hospitals, open treatment in clinics, clinics and centers,

6. providing assistance and social care to individuals in difficult life situations by providing them with material assistance and ensuring care and social assistance with and without accommodation through paid and unpaid public benefit activities,

7. engaging in charitable and benevolent activities,

8. conducting activities for the professional and social integration and reintegration of individuals at risk of social exclusion, including people deprived of liberty and those released from prisons,

9. undertaking initiatives related to public order and safety,

10. promoting and organizing volunteer work,

11. conducting scientific, educational and upbringing activities focused on preventing addictions and social pathologies,

12. providing psychological and legal assistance to individuals in difficult life situations, in particular crime victims and members of their families,

13. supporting individuals with disabilities,

14. promoting employment and professional activation for people who are unemployed and those at risk of losing their jobs

15. advancing equal rights for women and men,

16. providing support for people of retirement age,

17. conducting activities supporting the development of inventiveness and innovation in the field of social economy,

18. providing assistance to victims of catastrophes, natural disasters, armed conflicts and wars both in Poland and abroad,

19. engaging in activities for European integration and foster international cooperation between societies,

20. supporting Polish diaspora and Poles living abroad,

21. conducting activities for the benefit of the family, motherhood, parenthood, promotion and protection of children's rights.

22. providing free legal assistance and increasing the legal awareness in society and providing civic counselling.

23. carrying out and implementing tasks in the field of participation in the enforcement of court decisions.

24. conducting activities for the integration of foreigners.

The Foundation's activities specified in points 7 to 24 may be conducted in the form of either paid or unpaid public benefit activities.
