Daily Addiction Therapy Ward
We run a Day Addiction Ward in our centers. This offer is intended for people who need intensive therapy in safe environment and support in maintaining abstinence. The daily program lasts eight weeks, classes take place from 8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The open form of therapy allows patients to experience everyday situations, observe their feelings and behaviors, while being supported by therapists and the therapeutic group. In addition to classes in a therapeutic group, we provide diagnosis and consultations with an internist and psychiatrists, as well as psychotherapy sessions conducted by an individual therapist. You can obtain sick leave for the duration of your stay in Daily Addiction Therapy Ward.
The therapy is conducted by addiction psychotherapy specialists and psychologists. It includes, among things psychoeducation, training sessions developing new skills, work on: developing insight into one's own addiction, acquiring skills that help stop the disease and improve the quality of life, improving relationships with people, developing new activities, strengthening self-esteem and self-efficiency.
Since January 2016, we have been running a Daily Behavioral Addiction Unit. This therapeutic program can be used by people struggling with addictions to activities such as gambling, workaholism, internet addiction) ,shopping addiction and sex addiction, etc. We have introduced innovative and interesting therapeutic methods such as bibliotherapy, film therapy, music therapy, art therapy, choreotherapy.
In addition, our centers have a day ward designed for people with serious somatic diseases and organic changes of the central nervous system who have difficulty maintaining abstinence. Therapy in this ward is based on a harm reduction program. The goal is to prolong periods of abstinence, reduce the intensity of behaviors related to active addiction, improve the quality of life, and build constructive relationships. The classes are tailored to the patients' abilities and are primarily focused on motor activities and developing creativity.
