During supervision meetings participants recorded conversations are reviewed. (This allows them to listen to their own and others recording, test their motivational dialogue (MD) skills, and determine which elements need further practice and which are already well mastered)

The title of therapist is awarded to Participants who are already therapists, psychotherapists or addiction therapists, in short who have the right to use the title of therapist/psychotherapist in recognized independent therapeutic approach or school recognized in Poland.
Motivational Interviewing – is not an independent therapeutic approach, therefore the title of motivational therapist is awarded based on the above criteria.
Other Participants receive the title of DM Practitioner. All participants who want to obtain the title (weather) therapist and (or) practitioner) must undergo verification of their skills in the use of DM on the MITI scale - (payment PLN 550)
condition for completing the training is:
- Presenting one 20-minute recording to demonstrate the participants progress in acquiring practical motivational interviewing.
- At least 80% attendance at classes.
conditions for obtaining the title of MOTIVATING DIALOGUE PRACTITIONER are:
- Completion of the PIDM MOTIVATING DIALOGUE STUDY training.
- Submitting a recording for assessment on the MITI scale and obtaining sufficient marks.
conditions for obtaining the title of MOTIVATING THERAPIST are:
- Completion of the PIDM MOTIVATING DIALOGUE STUDY training.
- Submitting a recording for assessment on the MITI scale and obtaining sufficient marks.
- providing documentation confirming the right to use the title of addiction therapist, therapist or psychotherapist from an independent therapeutic approach or school)
A change of the title from practitioner to therapist is made automatically without additional fees or examinations if a person with a practitioner title obtains the right to conduct addiction therapy/therapy.
